AFI may have been on the side of the pitch but as AFI has been at pains to say Moyes has been very much in charge and calling the shots.

Irvine is an excellent assistant, one of the best coaches out there.

I was critical of him here, but had he been head coach under Ashworth, he may have stood a chance.
