O'Shea's record...

Actually pretty impressive.

Conceded 6 goals in 10 games he's started vs.
P10 W6 D2 L2 (2pts/game)
P30 W14 D12 L4 (1.8pts/game)

By contrast we shipped 26 in 21 starts with Ferguson
P21 W11 D7 L3 (1.9pts/game)

Keep him in Slav!

Never a right back unless you're Tony Pulis BUT has great postional sense (always seems to be well ahead of opposing players when with diagonal balls coming into his zone), is tidy on the ball and can win headers and tackles.

Think he probably gives Gibbs a bit more license to bomb on as he slots in to make a solid 3 at the back.

I thought he was good against Bournemouth in the pre-season friendly, so it's been great seeing him progress. Plays with a lot of maturity

Hegazi MOTM. But O'Shea had a very decent game. Only error I can recall is when he got on the wrong side of his man when the Wednesday player went on to hit the post. Other than that he was as steady as a rock.

I thought he looked what he was, when he broke into the side, a centre half playing full back. He adapted quicker than I ever expected. Love his solid, no nonsense approach.
