holiday advice

we've had a look at the Hotels rules on Covid 19 and to be frank it doesn't sound much fun, limited bars, limited restaurants, limited loungers, limited pool time, limited kids club, limited entertainment etc.  We've been to this hotel before and loved it and would dearly like to go if we thought the holiday would be anything like the last time we went (god knows we could all do with a nice holiday right now!).

we're happy to lose the deposit, £60 each, it's just not making the final payment that we don't want to do as some have already said getting the money back is a nightmare.  I know many people have got bigger problems than this so I suppose if this is all we've got to worry about we're quite lucky.

To be honest, that's been our philosophy.

If 2020 turns out to be a write-off and we're all still around to take a holiday in '21 I'll take that as a good outcome. Which doesn't, in any way, understate the seriousness of the situation for the tourist/leisure industry, sizeable parts of which must be on the brink.
