Watched 'Saving Mr Banks' the other night. Surprisingly good. Excellent performances. Only disappointment was, reading about P L Travers and the film afterwards, there was some historical inaccuracy (fair enough) and Disney came out of it looking better than they should (but then the bastids did take over production of the film).

HA! It is probably my favourite film ever. Can watch it over and over.

Absolutely.

A number of masterpiece scenes, not least when Kilgore has Wagner blasting as they attack the village. Superb performances throughout.

Amazing it ever hit the cinemas given all the problems in production.

Groundhog Day. Mrs has never sin it, quite fitting right now.

Watched that last night.

And the night before.

And the night before that.

And the night before that...

Started watching The King's Choice last night about the Norwegian Royal family when the Nazis first arrived in Norway.
Very good but too late so recorded the rest and looking forward to watching it.
Didn't realise that their coastal forts opened fire on German warships and actually sank one whilst still officially neutral.

Watched The Two Popes last night. Strange how watchable 2 hours of Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan Pryce just talking to each other is....

Sunk the battle cruiser‘Blucher’

I fancy seeing the 12th man about a botched commando raid in the same part of the world.

Yes - been reading about it, badly damaged the Lützow  too.
100 year old fort with ancient guns and 40 year old (pre WW1) torpedoes that they didn't know would work!
Captured the survivors and then let them go.
