Good Morning Judge for me. But so many.

Let's expand to Graham Gouldman as the thread progresses.

I hope you don't mean ABBA...

I was goingvfir the Boss next but I'm not early enough

ABBA were fine, but ELO, Status Quo, 10CC, Dier Straits...

Just waiting for Phil Collins to complete the old farts set.

It's starting to be like a list of favourite bands of early 80s footballers from Match magazine (although Dire Straits has elements of nostalgia from school days, walking home pissed from Bromsgrove and singing Romeo and Juliet at the top of our voices 1988-1990)

Hated 10CC as a kid and have not heard anything to change my mind since. Dreary mush.

'I'm Mandy Fly Me' and 'I'm Not in Love' are difficult to choose between for my fave.

Not a fan of 10cc when I was a teenager (the time they were really big).

But now, yeah quite like them. They were truly ground breaking, saw a good documentary on them on BBC 4 a few years ago, there was a definite tension between Godly/Crème (the innovators) on one hand and Stewart/Gouldman(the pop songwriters) on the other.

My favourites
I'm Mandy Fly Me - totally bonkers
Art for Art's sake.
