Some big profits made this window. Sign of things to come. Even we made a £9m profit. All the fancied teams for promotion made a multi million pound profit. Leeds, Fulham , Swansea in the 20s of millions .

Hopefully it's a sign of young home grown talent getting a game although still 50% foreigners playing....

Our numbers feel a bit skewed.

Zohore didn’t cost £8m and we got £10m for JRod.

We made closer to £20m as well

Never believe what they print. Cash is king, with all the different add ons etc who knows what the actual sale proceeds are, at the time the transactions are made.

It works both ways I'm sure and our club probably has it down to a fine art. To say clubs have millions in the bank after transfer deadline day I'm not so sure....

We only got 5 for Jayrod now, 5 is to follow

They've ignored the £4m for Rogers too... If they're saying JRod is 5 +5 then they should report Zohore's £4m + whatever...

Does indeed seemed skewed, but I'm not surprised that Premier waged players were flogged off and cheaper ones bought in by most clubs.

It’s a guaranteed payment in 12 months though...

If I bought something off you and paid you £5 today and £5 next week, I’d have paid you £10 for it

Well no, you'd have bought it for £10, you have paid £5 and you owe £5... Like when DFS let you buy a sofa over 4 years interest free credit...you've only ever paid what the other person has received, not the cost of the item.

Ignoring all their transfer figures the most important part on there for me is:

Average age of departures - 29years
Average age of incoming = 23.9years

I hope the club have set up a nursery for all this youth!

You’re right but in terms of calculations for 19/20 season it’s 5m, as the spend for Kenneth is 4m

Clubs work on seasonal budgets and incomings and outgoing, could all change next year for example if we get promoted.....see the Villas recent activity

I didn't realise how cheap I managed to buy my house until I read this.... Remi must have done the sale!

Given pretty much every transfer is paid in installments over the life of the players contract, for all intents and purposes JRod went to Burnley for £10m...
