Marks out of 10 pant wetters

Exciting day, but who the hell is going to play regularly? Please advise those who go more regularly than me.

I really, for the life of me cant work out the conundrums, but we have a very strong looking squad.

Going into this window I felt the most important issue was the forwards. I'm happy with Austin and happy Gayle stayed at Toon rather than go to Leeds or another rival. I do wish we could have got Gayle and if we had it would have been the perfect transfer business.

Anyway, it's done now, and after a hugely tumultuous summer, it does look like we have a strong squad and plenty of youth and pace, which we missed last year.

Over 46 games they'll get a great chance to impress.

I have to give us 8 out of 10 for the summer business based on what I know, but after the transfer window of 2017 had many of us thinking about top 8 only to get relegated in horrific style, I'm just hoping the pieces fall into place.

We will miss Gayle and J Rod, but expect we'll get a lot more goals from midfield.

Now for the football.

It's not done, they may have requested the 2 hours extension thingy....!!! Smile

No rest yet!!

With all the attack minded options in midfield you have to feel sorry for the teams we're going to play, our substitutes bench is going to be dynamite!

1. They should have been signed by June so they could gel in pre-season.

We'll be playing some lovely stuff and seem to have a good mix of artists and warriors.
