1st team squad

Will amend if we get any other signings transferred. The ideal is for 2 players per position to create competition and have cover.

GK - Johnstone, Bond

RB - Ferguson, Furlong
CBs - Bartley, Ajayi, Hegazi, O'Shea
LB - Gibbs, Townsend

RW - Phillips, Diangana
CM - Livermore, Krovinovic, Harper, Sawyers, Brunt, Willock
LW - Edwards, Pereira

CF - Austin, Zahore, HRK, Burke, Tulloch

Now I've listed them like that, it does make Field's loan look a bit odd, tbh. Maybe Ajayi will move forward, as some suggest, when Hegazi is back fit.

Good enough to challenge for promotion?

I think Barry will stay which is why Field has been allowed to leave.

100% good enough.

We’ll be there or there abouts.

Would make sense.

Definitely good enough to challenge for promotion IF we don't encounter injuries. As I say, I think another centre back/right back for cover would be welcome

Definately good enough.

Down to the manager now.

Far better balance than last season.

Much of it depends on Zahore and Burke. We need one of these to really click and get us 15 goals +.

Austin you would hope is the 20+ man.

Certainly a better blend of youth and experience. Let's hope the new ones are good.

Better than last season for me.

Bilic wants to play one up front then four strikers is going to be our maximum. We're simply not in a position to hoard three/four players for every position.
