The EU have made it explicitly clear that they will not reopen negotiations unless a new, long term, extension is agreed and even then the backstop has to stay in place and we have to pay the divorce bill. Nothing different can be tried except maybe moving the backstop down the Irish sea which will collapse the government due to the loss of DUP support.

My repost to this is 'echo-chamber' it's the only come back they've got now. They can't argue facts about Brexit, they can't argue about the parties failed policies, they can't argue about the sub standard calibre of potential leader and given those on the right / populists have recently got very upset about milkshakes, a joke Jo Brand made and an armed to the teeth woman in a cocktail dress protesting against climate change they can't even use the term snowflake with any real merit anymore. 

The new bullshit narrative is 'we always voted to leave without a deal' and 'we support Boris because he's positive'! There was literally not one iota of a plan, no details, no facts given on last nights debate it was just bluster. Unbelievable position for this country to be in!
