Wish I had half your optimism.

I just worry that we’re right back in Pulis/Pardew territory. We’ve got enough in there, but just forgotten how to do it. We really need a galvanising Big Dave type to instil some belief and some collective responsibility, ASAP. But instead, we’ve another Fratboy youngster who’s never really kicked a ball. As strange managerial choices go, I kind of get the logic, but it just isn’t working yet.

But who knows. If that first win comes on Saturday, somehow, who’s to say we don’t all of a sudden see a different Albion? With whoever and however we do it, we’ve never needed it so badly as we do right now.

Can’t see one if I’m honest.
Cov midfield will tear us a new one on Saturday so think we’d need to score 3 to win, whereas we probably need 6 games to score 3.

Coventry is a free hit for me, not expecting much given their league position, but their form is on a slight wobble (albeit I shouldn't be throwing stones from our glass house).

Key games are the two after, need four points from them really, and absolutely must not lose to Oxford. It's like being back in the 1990s.

I know Burnley aren’t all that right now, but if Mansfield were to play like they did against them yesterday they’ll tear us a new one!
