Premier league managerial merry go round
#1
Well this summer in the premiership how many clubs will be looking for managers.
Confirmed Man Utd, Crystal Palace and Spurs rumours also saying Pep will Quit. Slot on muddy ground. Who knows what will happen at Arsenal if they blow up completely.
Glad we’re not in Premier there is to much uncertainty there. I would rather be in our wonderful position of try to starve of relegation to league one.   Angel  Big Grin

If some ff the big teams are looking in the summer as expected, I'm sure he'll be on a most of their lists as an option.

Much of the deal with Emery is he doesn't fit the modern model. Not only given a huge budget and total control, he has around 30 assistants. Coaches, staticians, the lot. If he did leave it's a big hole to fill. I'm looking forward to it, mind, but there are just too many clubs that don't want that sort of head coach. Personally I think he should leave and let someone come in and take off the handbrake.

Yup. He might not get another chance at a proper big club though whilst his stock is so high. He might have to compromise on some of that, as might a club wanting to take him on.

You should post that on H and V. They'd love the "might not get another chance at a proper big club".....

Emery should go this summer while his stock is high. This season will be the best he can do with Villa.

He’s got a few years left on his contract so I can’t see clubs wanting to pay the money to get him as by all accounts he and his team are on a fair few quid.

Rumours are they haven’t got the “big” money to spend in the summer (not to the value Villa fans expect anyway). That could be a point of frustration potentially, but most likely he’ll stay at Villa this summer.

Just got to hope that they continue to just falter at the key moments and hope the Vile lot turn against him enough to make think twice.

Yeah spot on about the level of control he has. He picks the Director of Football. So he basically picks the players he wants. He’s earning as much at vile as he would anywhere else without the pressure.
I can’t wait for him to leave but it would be Real Madrid or Barca calling for him to consider it I reckon, unfortunately
