My issue is you get precious little extra for finishing higher in the league. How about 3rd gets straight to the final. 4th gets a one off leg at their home to play the winner of 5th and 6th, which is done as it is now.

All that plus I’d let 6th play at home to the winner of 7/8 before having to play away at 5th

Definite no from me, if it was up to me we'd be back to 3 up and 3 down... no play offs.

If we're shaking things up then fuck it why not have play offs for relegation too.

A snakes and ladder playoff game 2nd versus bottom could also be good for a laugh.

Should prolly also have half time shows too. Maybe some cheerleaders and brass bands.

With a bit of out the box thinking it could be very entertaining.....more so than the prem.

We should have a play off with 23 teams and everyone plays each other twice and the 3 most successful teams go up. It'll generate millions.
