I thought he was another Homer. However he did get all the big decisions against them right, to their annoyance. But the amount of inconsistent decisions were mind boggling.
Booked Price for a high boot. Their player tried to volley the ball at shoulder height and nearly decapitated Phillips - Play on.
He booked Styles early on when their RB when charging through, then Doyle blatantly pulled back Molumby when we were break - No booking.
Booked Imray for repeated fouls - when 2 weren't even a foul. Then let's Klarer get away with 3 hack downs of Heggebo after he had rolled him.
Don't even get me started on the Jaw breaker from their keeper on Phillips.
And the 'noses still have the neck to moan about the decisions.

I think the last couple of years has gone to a few heads on that side of town.
The celebration police were well out in force but I think they fail to remember than Blues spent a decade playing like we did last night and finishing 20th in this league before the money arrived.

Tbh I don't think there can be any complaint about any of the three bookings we picked up. Whilst watching the game at no point did I think there was any particularly bad officialdom. I've said elsewhere, whilst Styles probably didn't intentionally handle on the line, in many cases I could see that being given as a penalty and a red card. We should've had a penalty for the foul on Phillips towards the end so it probably evens things out between the two.
It really doesn't seem an issue to get worked up about. There are far more positive things to focus on from last night.

I thought he was pretty good all round, and you certainly can’t call him a homer after the Styles incident and offside call. Whilst both decisions were correct you’ve seen both of those go the other way; and a true homer would have done that.
The Imray booking was harsh but only because they weren’t fouls. The ref thought they were fouls (mainly because their lad went over too easily) so he was booked for repeat offences. The booking was fair even if the free kicks weren’t - if you get what I mean?

I don’t trust any officiating in this game anymore, too much dough involved.
If the EFL want promote League 1 I’m sure they’d love the likes of us Leicester and Sheff Wed down there.
