Camera phones are genuinely one of the worst things to happen to modern society. People feel a compulsion now to film pretty much every facet of their lives just because they have this piece of technology which can do it no matter how mundane it is or inappropriate. It's not just a generational thing either, older people are just as bad as kids. It's so pathetic.

Makes them feel better about their own shitty little lives to visually gossip about those of others.
