The majority of us dont have a problem with migration (coming here to work etc)
The majority of us dont have a problem with genuine asylum seekers (Ukraine one example)

We have aproblem with 1000s of young men coming on boats
Many already granted leave to remain in other european countries but dont like whats on offer
The ones who lie & dispose of paper work but manage to keep phones (the lad who killed the woman in bescot last year)
The ones that happy to crush any children that rarely appear in dingys so save themselves
The ones whom qualify for free legal services & lawyers & comapnies like serco make millions from
The ones that take a huge risk crossing the english channel because the rewards are like winning the lottery if allowed to stay
The ones whom have zero respect towards females & anyone who is gay because its acceptable in their culture to kill beat whatever

The ones defended by liberal groups yet claim all white males are guilty of an ism or ist

All political parties are guilty of the current situation btw

Just pointing out that even amongst Labour Party members Starmer’s approval rating is tanking. Whilst the Mirror’s own poll (Labour paper let’s be honest) has immigration as its biggest issue to tackle. Under Starmer they are never going to win the next election because he and his advisers are out of touch with mostly working class provincial towns and cities. The old ‘it’s the economy, stupid’ is no longer applicable no matter how much more comfortable Labour are with that subject than they are with migrant crossings.

I’m aware of those views Derk. And they wouldn’t win the next election outright if they had Paul Daniels in charge

They would stand a much better chance without Starmer and Reeves, and by not moving the problem from hotels to homes within communities already sceptical this government understands or even cares about their opinions, that’s for sure (excuse the Bryan Little phraseology). Currently Labour look like they are taking the piss out of communities rather than listening to and helping them.

What would you have them do?

They've removed the 2 child cap, giving free breakfasts to children, frozen rail fares, given more employment rights, given more free childcare, backed down on the WFA, increased minimum wage above inflation, bringing down interest rates, reducing NHS waiting lists and removing green levies from energy bills.

Have you not learned yet that Dekka has no answers to anything? He is as bad as the Reform zealots in identifying every perceived slight as "an attack" on someone or other.

There is also the modern day phenomenon that means once you take a stance, you cannot separate from it no matter what happens.

The last three comments miss the point entirely, when you have a Labour supporting Mirror newspaper readers saying immigration is their number one priority above both the NHS and the cost of living problem then Labour have a problem. Similarly when a poll of Labour Party members declare support for Starmer is at an all time low, then you have a problem.

Look Derek, the grown ups and centrist dads know what they are doing.
