Been hammering Hades 2 the last few weeks. The first is one of my favourite games of all time and the sequel doesn’t disappoint.

Bought my first game in two years… Clair Obscur expedition 33. Love the tone, music, acting….but god I wish I’d realised it was a parry and dodge game. I avoid souls games like the plague….gonna be a struggle. Also not sure how well a mechanic like that gels with building a character but will see. Only an hour in. Guess i’ll have to git gud.

It’s a brilliant game, probably my GOTY so far. 

The dodge window is a lot more forgiving than parry and you can use it for most enemies so focus on that to start with.

I abused the rest at the flag to respawn enemies to practice…which also gave me more xp. So might be slightly overlevelled but i did a mini boss and the first actual boss with a few parrys so my initial anxiety at the mechanic has subdued a bit, but we’ll see. Loved everything else about it so far so hope I can figure it out.

Over levelling in Expedition 33 can ruin the game, especially the last act... So beware... Then again the post game stuff still kicks ones arse!

Finished it. Loved it. Immediately into new game plus. The music is incredible, story superb, voice acting excellent. 33 out of 10.

Didn't you keep doing the post main story content rather than jumping into Ng+ there's almost as much content after the story. And some ridiculously hard bosses

Wanted the challenge - and was interested in seeing the story again after knowing what was going on now.

Ahhhh, seriously if you've got a save from the other playthroughs jump back into it. You get the final power for the tortoise flying dood, and the bosses will make you cry!!

I’ve been playing Ghost of Yotei the last few weeks. Very similar to Tsushima with a few improvements to combat and added stuff to do outside quests. The graphics look incredible at times.

GTA VI delayed until 19 November 2026.

Take Two were pretty bullish about the now slipped May '26 date, so I'd personally expect this to be the final delay for the devs to get it ready for launch.

Shame, but I'd rather they took the extra time to release a game that's fully polished and optimised on day one than rush out a buggy mess.

Hopefully the extra time will mean less crunch for the developers.

Ahhh well something to look forward to for my birthday next year Wonder if it will coincide with the PS6 coming out that day

Currently playing Ghost of Yotei, pretty much the same as Tsushima, but that’s no bad thing.
