The PA are the only authority that we have recognised. The diplomatic channels will be through the PA's representatives. Hamas are the ones that are irrelevant.

So I'll ask you again, what conditions should be applied to the PA?

We can have as much cosy diplomacy as we like with the PA, but their legitimacy in the West Bank is questionable, and in Gaza it's non-existent.

That was the attempt at leverage on Israel to pressure them to reassess what they're doing in Gaza. They decided not to, I believe you have a term for they beginning with F and ending with O.

Hamas is irrelevant to the conversation, we haven't recognised them and they remain classed as a proscribed group. We are putting forward support in the UN to the PA and our diplomatic correspondence is solely through the PA. We have now recognised a Palestinian state headed up by the PA as the sole legitimate entity. So what conditions should we have set the PA?
