was there about 30 years ago stayed in a hotel near the Tigers baseball stadium, in an area which had been "regenerated" to attract more tech businesses after the near demise of the auto industry. Jet lagged I woke up v early and went for a run, about 2 miles in a cop car pulled up alongside me, cop leans out and says "Sir, you really shouldn't be running in this area" He then jabbed a finger indicating he wanted me to go back the direction I came from, which I did.

There's an astonishing, at times strange, book by a young Scottish writer, Cal Flyn; it includes a chapter on, among other places, Detroit...

Never had you down as a Walking Dead fan, Oss’, but I’m sure you enjoy the transformation of those urban landscapes.
