Is the square being a rectangle in the same vein as all Tequila is Mezcal, but not all Mezcal is Tequila?

I'd never considered it, until I saw it here, then I shrugged and went makes sense.

Did you also know that triangles have 3 sides and that 3 is the magic number.  And if you add 3 to 5 and take the total away from 50 you'll end up with 42.

42 being the meaning of life, obviously.  Makes you think, eh.

That's what they want you to think... there are no countries really - we're all under the control of the left wing trans elite!

I read it in the Spectator whilst researching.

This is sad, I know. But let's see if anyone can get these without Google.

Quadrilateral. A rectangle has 4 right angles.

The correct word for a rectangle with equal opposite sides but not 4 equal sides (with 4 right angles) is an oblong. Which is the word I was told not to use at school, in favour of the word ‘rectangle’.

But yes, I did know that a square is a rectangle but only because my daughter taught it to me after a year 1 lesson.
