That is my first Half Done - I think that I now have the bug even more.
I was expecting around 1hr 55 - but i came in at 1hr 48.

Passed one of my good friends (Who ive always seen as a good runner) at about 12K and thought to myself - you have either really fucked this up or you have underestimated yourself started to worry a little but just kept my pace. Ended up running quite a good negative split race.

Cracking first time that pal. Well done! 

Managed a 10km sunday in under an hour. First since recovering from 18months out. Bones fine…lungs not so much Big Grin

This is the one thing that i keep seeing referenced and my calves are very tight. I'm trying extra stretches.
It's a weird pain though, only hurts when I stand on it but not always.
