Let it go.
It was a dreadful decision to reappoint him, as hindsight has shown.
It was too radical a switch from the Corberan era.
Also he was probably not right health wise.
A rushed and stupid decision but I can’t be doing with the spite shown towards him by some, as if he deliberately screwed us over.

Won the Championship trophy with us. That’s the only promotion as Champions, out of 7 in the lifetimes all on here will have known. The only piece of legitimate silverware we have seen. 
We saw great exciting football too. He did it with the distraction of a cup semi final run also, which was a semi final where we were more unfortunate than in 78 and 82. He was never a whining manager, acted with integrity, but like Giles more than a generation before should never have come back.
Acting all enraged about a few months mistake of a fundamentally decent man, and being able to be baited after he came back with the goodwill of most,having just fought back from losing 4 stone in a cancer battle, is a bit peculiar.

Anyone born in the 60s and before will recall 76. If there’s some proper old uns on here, aged over 80 ther might recall 1949.
