Ive got one that happened this weekend.
I have a 5yo Daughter who has for about a year really wanted to get into two hobbies ice skating and start gymnastics.

Well this weekend i took her Ice Skating but also broke the news to her that she would be starting Gymnastics on the Monday.

She started crying happy tears because "daddy this is the best day of my life, i get to ice skate with you whilst you made my gymnastics dream come true"

I fully welled up - not being with her all the time is hard, but its these things that let you know that there is still such thing as a "Pure Soul" even if they soon lose it.

Got a merit on the latest assignment for my masters. Got an amazing partner which has created a lovely blended family for both of us as our kids all love spending time together.

Finally getting to the bottom of health issues, mostly all caused by incompetence by my old GP in Cornwall, so just trying to sort that out

Career is going well, son is extremely happy in school and life generally.

Overall, life's good.

Watched my 15 year old son win the Crown Green Bowls Junior Merit on Sunday. The great thing about it is the fact that I won the same trophy in 1989. Even since he realised that my name was on the trophy he has been desperate to win it himself. The best part was the fact that my 82 year old Dad who also played bowls but has recently been diagnosed with dementia was there to watch him win it. A special memorable day all round.

No one mentioning our good start to the season! Arf!

I can't recall the last time I really enjoyed watching Albion. I know it's very early days, so I'm not getting ahead of myself, but I can't wait for the next Albion game I attend (maybe next Friday, depending on how crazy I feel!).

Outside of football, I'm just enjoying spending time with my 3 year old nephew when mom has him during the week. I'm going to ensure I treasure this time with him before he goes off to school next year.

After about 2 days worth of being with my 7 year old niece and the nephew during the six weeks holiday, I was counting down the days she went back to school, now I'm missing spending time with her! You can't win, although, they were/are a fucking nightmare together. Hats off to any of you who have 2 or more children and have them full time. I couldn't cope!

My lad, ( lad, he's 23 and 6ft 3, Baggies through and through ), met this girl from a broken home, at school, when he was 16. Two weeks back, they got the keys to their new home, bought a house in Kidderminster. Yes , it's Dad, can you paint this, Dad , can you put this washing machine in for us, but ,I am really enjoying it.

To wake every morning and know (hope) that anything I have said in any form will not make me a target for an assasin. Though I may be incorrect in my assumption.

Seriously however, enjoy every moment you have because I am fearful of the world we will leave behind for our kids, grandkids etc.

That is so heartwarming. Good luck to them. Your lad seems like a very well adjusted chap.

He is well adjusted, did a degree in politics & war studies, now works for H.M.R.C ? Chases people who haven't paid tax.
In all honesty, he has had his moments, arguing with me and Mrs Ministry, ( once  when he was 16, we argued over something, he turned round with his fist clenched, I thought, God, he would give me a right beating), it didn't come to that, I've never had the police round or anything, he would need to be severely provoked to hit anyone, He and his girlfriend  are totally a real couple, the wifes Dad  remarked, when they were 18,' you'd think they had been married 10 years'.
