THat would be some statement of intent - young Danish int'l, moved to Turkey for a lot of money a year or so ago, and has a lot of CL experience.

Have to say I was expecting Nestor's data model to be a bit more robust than:

- are they 1000ft tall?
- are they from Scandinavia?

I hope DooD is right on this one, I mentioned him a couple weeks back... at the right price, he'd be a great addition, really aggressive defender with loads of potential to improve.

£2 million, not a natural fullback. Giving me Holgate vibes. Trying very hard to trust the process.

I like him but he lost his place at Sheff U after Xmas to a midfielder (Choudhury).

Half the fee we got for Furlong, he's 21 and he's played nearly all of his first team football as RB. Holgate is a ridiculously harsh comparison.

Everything I've read from SU and Chelsea fans suggests he's more naturally a RCB albeit a small one. Which is exactly what Holgate is, hence the comparison. He also played CB against us last season.

Well given his age and the fee he's got an opportunity to cement his place as a proper RB. I've had the briefest of look at the stats from last season and whilst he might not be a flying, overlapping WB he can certainly progress the ball up the pitch and appears to do well in his defensive work. Feels a bit of a free hit given the price, if he's any good whatsoever then we end up with a tidy profit in a couple of years.
