I don’t agree that it’s been endemic. For most of my life it’s been a minority sport and reached its nadir when Griffin appeared on QT.

Problem is voting for Brexit was the reason for Farage along with UKIP to disappear and he didn't. He reinvented himself and has come back stronger. Stop the boats and we've still all the problems of the crooks and criminals from Europe in their eyes. They'll always be those looking for blame. As an aside, I had to go into Birmingham centre yesterday and it was the worst I've ever known for being harassed by homeless people and folks who were clearly mentally ill wandering around. Incidentally, those that did come up to me sounded English. I think the good weather makes the homeless people more visible, with the area around Snow Hill a hell hole yesterday. There's deep issues in society, but the crux of it is the blue touch paper was lit many moons ago and those thinking one year of Kier Starmer is to blame are a bit simple.

What does stopping the boats actually look like, how much stopping is enough? Will it be enough to send Border Force onto the beaches and get them to kosh a few "fighting age males" over the head, will they need to throw a few babies into the Channel, or simply machine gun all the dinghies?

Maybe the Govt could relocate all those coming over on boats into large Victorian houses in the leafy streets of Islington
They would be superb HMOs

If the boats get stopped it'll be the Jews, disabled and commies getting blamed instead.

Seems pretty obvious that losing the deterrent of being able to send anyone who arrived via irregular channels back to the EU member state that they arrived from may have created a bit of a problem. Especially for the gangs facilitating this who would risk wasting a lot of money for no reward. |
