He's moved on. So should we.

I think it's harsh to compare Dobbin to Hughill. Dobbin was brought in as a sub, was lightweight and not what we ultimately needed. Hughill ended up being our main striker and was an absolute donkey.

Wasn't comparing them, just pointing out that both seemed to do better after leaving us... the better in either case still isn't anywhere near the levels we'd need, want or expect though.

Hugill was always a lower leagues player before West Ham surprisingly signed him before quickly loaning him out never to return. He has soon found himself back at his level ( currently barely scoring for Rotherham). I wouldn't describe that as doing better.  Dobbin is young enough to turn things around, he was surplus to requirements here behind  Mikey, Tom, Grady and Grant. So far from my viewing, hasn't pulled up any trees as yet but will get a run of starts as Borja Sainz is suspended.

Hughill 1 in 20 for us.... then 4 in 18 for Cardiff in the same division in the same season, definitely did better... sure he's now at 11 in 71 for Rotherham, but I meant after immediately leaving us.

But he smells of Corberan. We can't.
