Indeed.
BTA was instrumental last season, we'd have been fucked without him.
Sadly just wasn't enough in him as a player to turn down that sort of profit.

Being able to finish would be nice too.
You can’t finish from the hydropool.
Maja’s season is done and will still finish on more goals than BTA did for us last season.
This is a bizarre argument, without BTA’s goals last season we wouldn’t have been in the Playoffs. Where would we have been if he wasn’t playing? Judging a player on simply goals and assists is a little limited, what about the closing down, running the channels and actually being available for more than 50% of matches? Currently who has offered best value for money Dike or BTA?
Luke fuggin Moore has offered more VFM than Dike at the moment!

TBF DK, from what of seen of Stoke lately, they seem to make a lot of opposition players look like Lionel Messi.
That's just bloody rude.

There's been a lot of carry on about how we're a club not very good at buying low, developing and selling on, now BTA is the perfect example on this and we've still got five pages of arguing about him. He was brilliant for us in the circumstances, scored a few goals two leagues higher than he'd ever played before and left for 10x more than we signed him for. Case closed.
That said if you asked me to pick one of Dike or BTA, I'd pick Dike every time. From what we've seen when both are fit, Dike is the better hold up player, finisher and is better suited to how we were trying to play. None of that takes away from BTAs efforts playing up front literally on his own for two seasons.

Exactly pound for pound he’s been the best value striker we had last season and the season before.

All this. It's obvious. Best wishes to the lad.
