Any news on Dike? He must be nearly ready to play now

He's not even featured in any practice games yet so it's unlikely he'll be in contention before Maja is fit again.

As said above, the pressure will be largely on Grant's shoulders for goals now. This is a big blow but at least Grant has been in good form and other players are starting to contribute as well.

A blow, but a starting attack of:

Fellows Swift/Grady(?) Johnston
Grant

Should be good enough to get results.

Well it at least allows us to get Grant and Johnston into the team!

Cole cannot be as bad as his cameos have suggested. He has 40 goals/assists over his last 2 seasons.

At least we have some winnable games ahead.

Problem is that Grant has shown time and again he isn’t a #9.

His best form, both this season and historically, has been coming off the wing.

That's a huge blow, not only to our chances this season but also potentially to any hopes we might have had of receiving an inflated fee for him in the summer. Steve Hermon says expected back March/April, three lengthy injuries and two ops since signing in rotten luck.

I'd be tempted to send the Carlos money Wycombe's way for Kone if at all possible

Can we get Dobbin back? Where’s Andy Carroll? Are we gonna start playing Jed up front again? Is this why we called Cleary back?

True, but unless we get someone in or Cole steps up I don't really see a viable alternative.

I have a horrible feeling they'll try and play Wallace up front
