Would love to see a re run of Lions v Bills in the Super Bowl.

Shootout next week for the North. Vikings looked very good against the Packers the other night before they mysteriously conspired to nearly give us the win. The 2 point margin was not a fair reflection of the game, Vikings were much better than that. Packers did well for much of the game keeping Jefferson quiet but he eventually had an impact. Can't keep a good man down. Overall I think Lions deserve to win the North but if your defence is as depleted as you say, you're going to have to win it the hard way. Should be a good game

Lions Defence missing 7 Week One starters. If Anazalone gets back for the play offs that’ll help, Hutch reckons he might be back for the NFC Championship game. McNeil is the huge loss plus CB1 Carlton Davis.
Watched it again on 40 minutes this afternoon and Lions played soft for the majority of reps.
Given Niners cap issues it’ll be interesting to see who’s still there by August. Wonder whether they’ll pay Purdy as a there will be a lot of unemployed veteran QBs about. You can’t pay everyone

Not really. Second half 27-7 doesn’t support that
Winning at HT again (21 - 13), Purdy picked twice 2nd half and Special Teams fucking up again suggests yes it was.
Compared to the Lions absentees the 9'ers are on a different scale
No way did the Lions play soft on any reps, the coach was bang up for it after last season, that's utter tosh
Was a lot closer than I anticipated in all honesty given the Lions this season and our well documented issues
Jared Goff was excellent as always, interesting re Purdy, he's nowhere near the finished article so I'd envisage his salary demands will be sensible as he's certainly work in progress
The difference is the Lions have a 14-2 record despite injuries to clutch players on defence - 21 absent or on IR at its peak, far far more than anyone else. Including the Niners whos offence was up against some fellas who have been literally picked up off the street in the last few weeks.
I doubt Purdy will settle for any less than Lawrence or Love - why would he?
