I would take him. I can't see how our finances are better though, due to our FFP restrictions.

Funny one Eustace. Seems a good fit as from what I have seen of his Blackburn & Blues sides they seemed well coached defensively so I had him as a defensive coach similar in style to Carlos.

However I have just had a quick nose on wiki & he starred at Kiddy who were known as the non league Barcelona so he's clearly capable of changing his methods.

It's a no from me. His brand of ultra defensive football would have the purists scratching out their own eyeballs. Nice guy and all that, could be successful in the right environment, but I'd prefer someone with a bit more of a playing style. He and his family are based locally so that might be why he would have an interest. (If that isn't enough for you, his family are all villa fans as well)!

Blues were doing ok with Eustace then they decided they needed to be more ‘exciting’ and they got worse after he left to the point they were relegated.

They were doing just fine, as are Blackburn now. But if you thought Carlos' football was boring I wouldn't expect you to be thrilled with Eustace. Very effective manager though at this level. and deserving of a chance at a club that could go that step further. I just don't fancy that football but I could guess his local links may have as much to do with it as anything.

They were 6th after thumping us so I don't think he was doing too bad. Certainly got worse once they replaced him with Rooney

As always, don't care what football they play so long as it's not so different from CC that it takes a year for players to adapt to it. If they get results that's all I care about, preferably while improving players and developing young talent to sell.
