Got a busy next 10 days in terms of gigs. Got a free ticket for Rachael Lavelle at Hare and Hounds tomorrow night then a Sonic Cathedral 20th Anniversary Celebration bash at Hackney Church on Saturday (including Ride and Bdrmm), Cast at Coventry Empire on Sunday, Bess Atwell at Hare and Hounds on Monday, Pale Waves at Institute on Tuesday, Shed Seven at Manchester Uni a week on Friday then Jim E Brown at Paper Dress Vintage in Hackney the following night. Should be some good nights amongst that lot.

Managed to snag a ticket for The Cure, who are doing a new album set followed by a hit set, at the Troxy in London in a couple of weeks, which should be ace.
Got a pretty packed schedule between now and Christmas - Libertines, The Cure, Nick Cave, Fontaines DC, Vampire Weekend and McCartney. 2025 slate includes Franz Ferdinand, Wunderhorse, Fontaines (again), Oasis and hopefully a certain Somerset based festival.

I know its still early but 2025 doesn't exactly look like it will be a classic for gigs (or certainly the early months anyway). Only got Oasis, Iron Maiden, Stewart Lee and Brian Jonestown Massacre and the Great Escape and Manchester Psych Festivals booked so far There's not even a huge amount of stuff that I've got my eye on to possibly get tickets for.
The last two years have been excellent in terms of the majority of my favourite acts touring so maybe I've just been spoilt. Got to about 100 gigs last year and will probably end up doing a similar amount this year so 2025 may be more of a fallow year while a lot of bands are off writing and recording. Chance to maybe check out more unknown stuff at the Hare and Hounds instead.

Andy and the odd socks, cos I’m cool as fuck in April. Me first and the gimme gimmes at Brixton in December too.
Micky Flanagan as well next month if comedy counts.
In the form of his life.
