I found this a little funny at the time, too. Especially when I found out he was released.

However, body cam footage has today been released and allegedly it doesn't show the police in good light. They were overly aggressive, not only to Hill, but to Calais Campbell, and Jonnu Smith. I get the impression it's being hinted at that this incident has racial undertones to it, I could, of course, be misinterpreting the statements and reporting.

I haven't seen the footage (it's almost an hour long), but the above is a summary taken from a Dolphins statement and Ian Rapoport, so you'd hope that's a reliable source.

https://x.com/TheAthletic/status/1833284...1CKvg&s=19 - Short clip of the moment of arrest. Apparently (I take this with a pinch of salt as it's what I've seen from Twatter) he was speeding and got pulled over. There is a hint of non-compliance from Hill there, in winding up the windows, but that's definitely over aggressive policing!

Deshaun Watson has a fresh sexual assault and battery law suit on his hands.

The NFL - fucking hell.

I suspect he'd prefer a stretch to embarrassing himself on a national stage for the next 4 months.

Dolphins doing Dolphins things, that is bottling it against a good team. How some people have Miami down as potential Super Bowl candidates, I'll never know! Very Spursy.

At what point does Tua get forced to retire. He's such a talent and I love him as the franchise QB, but you can't keep leaving games concussed. He's sending himself to an early grave Sad

Here the protocol for rugby is 5 concussions and that’s your lot - at least when my son played it was. That was around 5 years ago and he’d had 3 by the time he was 18. I’m not sure if it holds for pro-rugby but it seems sensible that it should. I think if you’ve been concussed 5 times playing the game to carry on is simply asking for long term trouble.

Tua was concussed twice, maybe even three times in the same season 2 years back. So he's at at least 3 concussions now. I feel like it's a couple more, too.

Looking at the incident it would appear to be entirely his fault too. Why on Earth is he rushing into the linebacker with his head down?

49ers really struggling at Vikings 1st half, saying that Warner just made a stunning pick.

The offense yet to get going against a strong Minnesota D.

Helluva game at the US Bank Stadium. SF back to within 6 after more magic from Fred Warner on the 1 yard line.

Vikings hold on relatively comfortably. Poor game from Purdy who had far more possessions than his opposite number. Niners clearly missing McCaffrey.

Great win for the Raiders, didn’t expect that at all, Bowers was immense.
