I would de delighted but, frankly, astonished if we got more than £5m for BTA with just a year left on his contract.

Agreed - 1 year left will be the issue. Anything around the £5m would be a good deal - if we can get £7m for BTA and Okay it will give CC a healthy budget for some replacements and will really ease our FFP risk

I’d be sad to see him leave, but needs must and all that.

We need to either get a contract extension in place this window or sell him.  We certainly can’t afford to let players wind down their contracts and leave for free.

BTA will always cause problems with his pace and non stop running. In the Premier League, average strikers go for £20m so a third choice striker to come off the bench every now and then for £8m is perhaps not so ridiculous.

Rock on Tommy.

West Brom, Stoke City, & Sheffield United are interested in Leicester City striker Tom Cannon, according to Alan Nixon.

Struggled at Leicester but was excellent at Preston on loan.

Adds something different to our arsenal.

Southampton are about to sign Ben Brereton Diaz for £7m which would suggest there is nothing in the rumours linking them with BTA.

£7m a great price for him IMO.

Did well for a shocking Sheff Utd side last year.

He didn't really struggle for Leicester, unless you mean struggled to get in the first team. When he played he was good, he's highly rated by Leicester fans but was always gonna struggle to get in ahead of Vardy, Iheanacho and Daka in a team that only played one striker.
