For his part, a top KC dismissed the accusation. Then someone leaked alleged confidential material, I would assume whoever did this would be suspended.

Also it’s worth noting that no individual prior or since has come forward about Horner’s behaviour. In cases like this where C-Suite types are accused many victims come forward as part of the investigation process.

In addition, a lot of background is missing. The 49% minority stakeholders are trying to oust Horner way before this accusation came out. It’s been going on since Dietrich Mateschitz died…there’s a power struggle  happening and this all seems very circumspect.

A top KC? So you are assuming that legal professionals don't lie? Rolleyes

Why do you assume she was?

I don't think he has?

The paper talk (so take with a whole truck of salt) is that Geri Halliwell has demanded Horner cut ties with her, and so she has been suspended.

I think China's original point is that she's made an accusation, and whilst it's not been upheld in the greivance, she shouldn't be suspended for putting that greivance in if she felt the behaviour was inappropriate.

If the WhatsApp leaks are correct (very big if) you can't even ask a female colleague if she would like a cup of coffee any more.

It's political correctness gone mad.

In fairness, I've not seen the messages, I would question why he was using WhatsApp to ask if she wanted a coffee though? Just seems strange to me.

Either way, it's probably a storm in a teacup.

Didn't Lynsey De Paul write Storm in a teacup?

James Coburn was a lucky man.

If we smashed up stations every time we had a shit manager, we'd have closed more stations than Beeching.

An independent KC was brought in to undertake an investigation to review all sides. This is beyond ridiculous. The KC was brought in at the behest of the management in Austria who are anti Horner. So the idea a KC lies to protect Horner is nonsense.

This is my issue with cancel culture. You pick in the one element of what someone says rather than looking at the whole. There is background here that I think needs to be considered.
