Watford about to resign Dennis from Forest, Giles on his way to Hull on loan. Teams around us improving and this is where not having a take over already completed will hinder us. Going to make the play off race even more challenging if we cant find our way to bringing a couple in

"West Brom boss Carlos Corberan is confident of signing at least one more offensive player to provide firepower for the business end of the season and hopefully a midfielder but hopes to keep the rest of his squad intact with no more departures."

Let’s hope he’s right and he knows a little more about the club’s situation than we do.

Dennis should be announced today, as he's having his medical at Watford. There's a rumour that Watford will be also signing Karlan Grant. How likely do you guys think that might be? Heard anything on this?

Bartley would be a big loss on the pitch, but his wages are amongst the highest in the squad, so moving him on would be a bonus for the cash flow.

It doesn’t matter what the teams around us do in January, our away form is our biggest threat to our playoff chances

Could not agree more. I think I’m correct in saying all the matches we have won away we have not conceded in.We have drew the odd one but not won. Need to break that statistic or not concede.

If we could bring in a fee for a player who probably be leaving in the summer anyway if would be a bonus. Centre half is a position where do have cover as well and would be a chance for Taylor to come in and prove his worth.

Bingo. We also can't compete with teams making signings like this, the Giles deal includes a £4.25m fee in the summer. We're miles away from being able to offer terms like that at present.

It's a gamble on Hull's part. Big fee players come with commensurate salary and signing on fees. Should they not get promotion, then I find it difficult to see how this would not impact on their sustainability.

They got £20m for selling Potter not too long ago. That rather helps!
