Yup, there's so many flavours, can understand people not liking jump up/neurofunk/tech step as it's a bit much for some but liquid and disco dnb is way more accessible. There's something for everyone! Bit like the Brunteh barometer.
Todays banger is a bit out there, first heard on the valve sound sytem at the Marcus Garvey in Notts, it's absolutely shook the building with the bassline. The floor was literally bending.
Which coincidentally double drops swimmingly with this:

Love a bit of tech step tbh. Similarly love the poppier efforts too - different moods, different tunes.
Mad that you've posted Blackout - I heard that the first time this week on another playlist somewhere...

Brilliant! It was THAT sample that inspired the title of the thread - back from when I was about 16 listening to Quest and Helter Skelter tapes! I'm sure the original MC's chant was "6 million ways to die - choose one"

Seeing as we're doing poppy vibes...

Reminds me of Die Hard in Leicester that does. A "Youth Club" that ran until 6pm in the morning which didn't serve alcohol. Hardcore on the ground floor and gabba/D&B in the basement.
