Cann seems more than capable to be no 2 with Button no3?

Cann hardly pulled up any trees on loan at Brakes last season

£5M rising to circa £7M would be great business for WBA, make no mistake.

A realistic understanding of who we are and what he is, is needed.

Trafford fee is absolutely irrelevant!

Good luck to the lad. I hope he goes to Newcastle and DA has a plan for him to develop further.

Absolutely. Said this earlier. Hoping for a decent sell on fee too.

With Button off to Reading that would leave Ted Cann as our back up. So I would expect an experienced loan or out of contract keeper brought in as back up to Palmer

Carlos used to be a goalkeeper, so perhaps he's going to come out of retirement! ** Big Grin

** He's been retired since he was 23....

All well and good, but flogging a player for financial reasons and then hiring for the same spot for cover compacts the work CC need to do btw now and the window closing. it's not as if we've proven rapid, or even particularly capable, at recruitment.

Players we are after trying to be sold by their clubs and we want loans. Don’t be surprised if we stick to our guns in the hope a loan develops nearer deadline day if that player hasn’t moved on.

Waiting to the last minute for loans has gone poorly in the last couple of windows.

Couple of respectable keepers available on frees. Unfortunately one of them is that fishy fecker Jed Steer.
