Significant offers received for him that match what we want. Looks like he could be on his way!

If it's a good offer and decent sell-on clause then it makes sense seeing as he won't be starting if Palmer is fit.

Decent upfront fee and a proper sell on clause is whats needed here. A buy back option would be great too for when we reach the Prem........... in 2036!

It's a bit like when we sold the likes of Maresca or Hughes in the early 2000s, I'd ideally like to keep him but we need to bring money in for the greater good of the squad. Griffiths will undoubtedly go on to have a good career but there's not point having both him and Palmer here when we are so lacking elsewhere in other areas of the pitch.

8 figures, minimum, based on what other goalkeepers have gone for (Trafford and Bazanu).
We can't get rinsed again like with Dara.

Trafford had been in loan at Bolton for 2 seasons. Is the under-21 England keeper and played for Manchester City who rated him highly. Griffiths has also spent time on loan, somewhat less successfully, is back up keeper for U-21s, is second choice at a championship club. £6-8m would be exceptional, with a 20% sell on clause.

I think around 5m with a decent sell on and add ins would be good business.

Trafford went for £15m plus add-ons, Griffiths has played more games and at a higher level. Bazunu went for £12m. I hardly think asking for £10m for Griffiths is outlandish.
