So it's legal and within the rules of the game and yet another avoidable England dismissal. If we do go on to lose this Test we've only ourselves to blame. It feels like England have lost these two Tests rather than Australia winning them with outstanding cricket. We've beaten ourselves and that's what makes it so frustrating.

How would you have reacted if Cummins had whipped the bails off to run Stokes out at the non strikers end? It's in the laws, but for me there's a way to go about it. I'd criticise stokes for leaving his crease before the delivery had been bowled. You simply do not give the opposition any chances to take easy wickets.

Why aren't you criticising Bairstow for being an idiot? He's been given out for similar in the past, and as you say he was leaving his crease after every delivery. He hasn't learned from past mistakes and has been punished for stupidity and could have cost England a win (again, this time with the bat as opposed to with the gloves). 

I really don't understand the issue. It's avoidable from Bairstow and within the laws of the game. Australia have seen an opportunity and ruthlessly taken it. I'd be loving it if Bairstow got Smith out in that way. It's clever cricket from Australia and it's brain dead cricket from us.
