Really? So he should have said he didn't take the catch fair and square? Surely it's down to the umpires to decide? How does that stack up against Stuart Broad's "I never walk. Why would I?" approach? Got booed by the crowd anyway.

To be honest, the Lords crowd have been a bit embarrassing throughout this match. Booed Smith both times he came out to bat. Booed Starc and Lyon when they weren't taking singles.

Lord's is a shit venue though. All this "Mecca of Cricket" and the atmosphere is garbage. You have thought there was no-one there until Duckett was given not out.

100% this. Awful place to watch cricket. The players receive next to no vocal support. It must be like playing away from home for them.

Anyway, I'm kidding myself we have a chance of chasing this down. It's still a very good wicket and with Stokes and Bairstow in there's always a chance of something magical. And we're batting sensibly this morning which is fantastic to see.

4.5 per over without playing kamikaze. That’s aggressive test match play.

I'd rather fucking lose that resort to that shit.

What was Bairstow doing? Ridiculous. Australia will get called out, but why? They've played to the rules. Bairstow hasn't. It's idiotic and it's potentially gonna cost us. Pratt.

Both umpires are looking away, it's 'out' to the letter of the law but it's basically a mankad.

So it's legal and within the rules of the game and yet another avoidable England dismissal. If we do go on to lose this Test we've only ourselves to blame. It feels like England have lost these two Tests rather than Australia winning them with outstanding cricket. We've beaten ourselves and that's what makes it so frustrating.

How would you have reacted if Cummins had whipped the bails off to run Stokes out at the non strikers end? It's in the laws, but for me there's a way to go about it. Shite tactics and for once I'm not going to blame England. The umpire is unclipping the bowlers cap FFS, neither of them are paying attention.

I'd criticise stokes for leaving his crease before the delivery had been bowled. You simply do not give the opposition any chances to take easy wickets.

The Lord's crowd need to put their Pimm's down, grow up and stop booing Australia. How about support your own players for once. Prawn eating Southern softies.
