Really? So he should have said he didn't take the catch fair and square? Surely it's down to the umpires to decide? How does that stack up against Stuart Broad's "I never walk. Why would I?" approach? Got booed by the crowd anyway.
To be honest, the Lords crowd have been a bit embarrassing throughout this match. Booed Smith both times he came out to bat. Booed Starc and Lyon when they weren't taking singles.
Not a catch for me. You haven't got control of the ball if you need it to support you from hitting the deck.
Not disputing that. Calling Starc a cheating bastard is out of order.

Lord's is a shit venue though. All this "Mecca of Cricket" and the atmosphere is garbage. You have thought there was no-one there until Duckett was given not out.

It's not thought is it? He's still moving and therefore not in control, he knows hes grounded the ball and gets up celebrating. He knows the rules, if he had of slid into the boundary it would have been runs. To get up and claim a catch is really poor.

Totally disagree with that. It’s a different atmosphere, but still great. Level of decibels doesn’t equal atmosphere. Similarly to the open golf, there’s a certain type of atmosphere that just fits the game and the place.

Is it though? Most if the venue I was in were out of order then!

The Starc no catch yesterday was exactly what I was on about with the Smith catch the other day. Same rule applied differently in the same Test... probably means the rule is shit.

Yes the only one they got right was Stark yesterday, Stark never had the ball under control it hit the grass the same as Smith catch of Root and Greens catch of Duckett first test. Magrarth ought to remember there are a couple of cheats in this Aussie side before he engages his big biased gob.
