Attacking. Brave. But I can't shake the feeling it'll backfire.
But we could bowl them out for 200 today and it'll be lauded as the greatest ever declaration of all time. We'll see.
I don't think you can argue against the fact that Australia will be happier with their position than England will be with theirs!
I think it's all to do with the weather forecast which is bad today and not too great tomorrow. This game may well go to 5 days but only because there may not be play in one and a half of them.

I just think it was a display of self belief, ( the declaration). To put pressure on. As I say, I hope they are right!

Only four times in history have England batted first in a home Test, made more than 393 and lost. The last time was 25 years ago, when Murali took 16 in the match. The last time it happened against Australia, Don Bradman was playing.
Death. Taxes. Broad bowling Warner.

Loving this brand of Cricket. We will no doubt come unstuck at times but fuck me it's refreshing and a good watch.
Got one hell of a viral respiratory infection, you know the old fashioned flu's from before Covid? So will be in bed watching it all weekend.

Anyone else feel like throwing the remote at Steve Smith's face? The annoying cheating whopper.

I'd never do that again after the last time ... when I threw it at Butler, Atherton, Broad, Anderson ....
Take your pick

Brook bowling?
Stokes really does think outside the box, doesn't he.

It's more annoying the fact he's so good, but has an unconventional style. Some player, mind.
