This J Rod and Bong thing

I feel is getting darker by the minute ( and before anyone thinks they have found a hidden pun, don't bother ) It is all over social and main media about a chant and boos towards a black player and desperately trying to find a racial angle and hardly anything mentioned about the abuse levelled towards a white player. This to right minded people would look like any honest anti racist action is just turned into a witch hunt and more worryingly add fuel to the beliefs of those not so right minded.

I'm considering changing my user name as it might be a bit "racial"

It really is ridiculous. How is booing a player for making a false claim racist? Showing our support to a player who was appalled at the allegation.

Nothing racial about Victoria, she was friendly with a guy named Abdul.

Good post CB - tbf, BAWS has nailed this issue on fannies.

Hughton has unnecessarily stirred this one - but essentially it is football tribalism with an unpleasant tinge.  It will be yesterdays news, hopefully

Imagine if we'd chanted something about his hair.

When people realise that Bong has previous for lying, that should help to clear things up.
