Lets just enjoy a Summer of leather hitting willow, and hopefully a darn good thrashing for the Aussies.

Methinks you are hoping for this in an almost voyeuristic kind of way!  Big Grin

Is it even a cricket thread on this dump if we don't get a Cuzer RS tete a tete?

In theory yes, but it wouldn't be half as entertaining! Big Grin

Any reason as to why Harmer is consistently overlooked as the spinning option when he's continually by far the best spinner in County Cricket? His omission over the years has been bizarre.

Aside from that I see nothing too wrong with the squad. Crawley is awful (scored no runs and was out so cheaply in both innings v Bears) and should have been replaced with Bairstow with Fowkes remaining as the WK. But that's my only gripe, really.

I can't see how England selectors see Crawley as a better option than Sam Hain? Admittedly I'm biased being a Bear, but Hain deserves a chance at an England call up.

The guy who's played 10 tests for the Saffas?

As for Hain, not upset about him for Crawley because Hain is a middle order bat. He's better than Lawrence though.
