Fury will box the ears of Joshua, and would have done even in their primes.

I agree. I think Joshua was ducking the fight, not Fury. Similarly, I don't think Fury fancies fighting Usyk much, either.

Fury is absolutely ducking the Usyk fight.

Boxing is a murky world.

Very often it is not a simple case of the fighters doing the ducking, its the promotion companies who can't/won't make the deal.

For example, when the Joshua/Fury talks were going on last year, Eddie Hearn pointed out that Joshua agreeing the fight may have broken his contract with UnderArmour!

I'm not saying that was necessarily true, but it goes to show what an absolute farce it is when this sort of thing can come in the way of fights happening.

If it does happen, Fury should beat him 9/10 times, just needs to avoid walking onto one.

For boxing fans, two good fights coming up at Lightweight - probably the best division at present.

Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia
Devin Haney vs Lomachenko

Both in the next month and should be good.

Given boxing media seems to promote absolute rubbish half the time (the public seem to swallow anything with boxing), there's a fair chance most won't have even heard of these, even though they are pound for pound amongst the top fighters in the world.

I've heard of both of these fights happening, and I don't really follow boxing all that much.

I do agree though that most of the "ducking" happens becasue of contracts with broadcasters/sponsors. But I really do think Fury is just being uber difficult to Usyk and team to get this fight arranged.

It will be Joshua/Whyte, sadly.
