I wouldn't like to meet sn angry Joshua in a dark alley at midnight, but his complete career has been stage managed.

I think most wouldn’t want to meet a 6ft 6 angry heavyweight.
He really is the modern Frank Bruno though alas.
Has done brilliantly to have been so exalted, but he’s not someone likely to be remembered greatly after his career ends.
The guy he was fighting looked 3 stone overweight.

There are more than a few boxers who would end his career.

Fury, Wilder, Joyce, Usyk.

Wilder is still am extremely dangerously fighter at heavyweight. I'm excited to see what Joyce can achieve and then there's Dubois.

That night at Wembley when he beat Klitschko will be remembered.

Was there that night and it was fantastic.

And yet there was that moment when Klitscho seem to have had him beat and backed off oddly.

He seemed after that fight to have the world at his feet but whether it was hunger or down to Klitscho’s years catching up, Joshua’s career isn’t what we hoped.

A stage managed world champion. Like a lot of boxers it seems as though their career is carefully planned to ensure a world title shot at some point, and thereby earn the boxer, and moreso the promoters etc, a significant pay day. Too many ''world'' titles floating around. Was so much better when it was just WBA and WBC with no manufactured subdivisions.

Feels like none of the big players ever want to fight each other in their prime. They all keep ducking each other until they're past it enough that defeat won't really matter but still relevant enough to earn a big purse.

When Joshua and Fury finally get into the ring together it will be a good 5-10 year too late.

Exactly this, Duffs. I've already said that I expect a big final payday for them both at Wembley or similar in a hyped up grudge match that actually now means nothing.
