Running Clique
I was hoping to do the Windermere Marathon but cancelled that following a chest infection in January. On the way back now trying to run 5 times a week and hopefully add a weights session, a lot to catch up. Will enter an event when I’m feeling more like it, feels horrendous at the moment.

First half done yesterday, 2 hours 2 minutes which am pretty happy with for a first attempt. Knees are sore today!

Cheers. Gonna take a few days before going out again, will be keeping to the 10-15km range for a bit!

Signing up for a 21km trail run in April. Never done one before. 800m of climbing. Am I going to die? Might walk the hills to be fair we'll see.

Sat in my office right now with my kitbag under the desk trying to summon up the energy to go out.

Bloke I work with seems to do one of those type of runs every weekend, and some ridiculously long 100km ones, nutcase. Good luck!

Had a week off with a sickness bug (thanks kids) so hoping to go out for a steady one this weekend weather permitting.

Nice!

I love trail running. Walking hills is the way forward. You can move quite quickly.

Currently in South Wales carbing-up at my in-laws in readiness for the Beast of the Blacks in the Brecon Beacons tomorrow.

Doing the 20 miler. Lots of elevation.

There was a 40 mile option.
