It’s basically Bioshock: Russia, with a fair bit of Duke Nukem thrown in. Incredible world and setup, but with one of the worst, most unlikable main characters I’ve seen in any game for a long while. It’s also hilariously dumb, but in a fun way.

There’s a scene where a fridge tries to rape you.

Is it set in Wolverhampton?

Good game so far but it really needs a performance patch.

Been playing this on my PS5 today. I must say it's beautiful but I load games onto the extended 1TB ssd as it suggests to improve performance of the machine and load times (you wouldn't even noticed.

I am however, finding the PS5 controls in the game a little tedious, for something that should be  pretty straight forward. The lock on target for instance, either works or doesn't, it may that I am being a bit of a dullard though Big Grin

It's not a loading time problem for me but a VRAM utilisation problem, the game hasn't been properly optimised for PCs so playing above 1080p is a killer.

Ah well. My shuggestion here is that you throw your PC in the bin and acquire a proper gaming console. Or chose to play all your games with the graphics looking like something out of Roblox. Big Grin

Must admit I've never seen that advice. A lot of SSDs that people put in for the expansion aren't as fast as the one in the PS5, so I can't see how they'd be quicker? Unless you've got a super dooper super fast new one? I've got a WD black in mine, rated at 7500mbps, but it gets slowed down a bit to around 6600mbps by the PS5 anyway. Even then it'd be milliseconds as you say, not noticeable.

Cyberpunk, still one of my classics I completed through on my gaming laptop, constantly fiddling about with the settings to get the right blend of graphics and gameplay, it's such an amazing city and gorgeous to look at with Ray Tracing you strived to get it right

Completed it then on PS5 when the latest patch came out, just so much easier with no fiddling of settings to get the balance right, arguably slightly more gorgeous on the PC but a lot less aggro on the PS5, console everytime given the choice, something I thought I'd never say 5 odd years ago

Gamers with high spec rigs also need a screen to showcase what it can output. I'd wager the latest consoles and an average 4K 50" TV do more than a good enough job to showcase most games off. And you'd still have change compared to what you'd pay for a PC and all the peripherals.

Yep, this, 4K UHD and Ray Tracing on a PS5 is more than good enough for games to look the dogs testicles

120 FPS is pretty special as well, just using a mouse feels like it's swimming in butter. But I cannot get along with keyboard and mouse for games so pointless for me outside of video edits.

A few issues with that.

First, I can play all my games old (PC games and emulators) and new on my PC and have access to PS exclusives and Xbox GamePass. I would need a lot of consoles to do that instead of a single box.

Second, I can't expense a PS5 or Xbox Series for work as I do PC parts.

I've got my PC connected to my TV though over LAN and with NVIDIA's auto optimisation it's pretty good, and with wake on LAN I don't need to leave the living room. A faff to set it up but not really any bother now compared to my Switch.

What are you using to connect the TV with over LAN? I've done a lot of work with NDI, HDMI over ethernet and encode/decode pairs but not found any really usable solution for home use.
