Dear Lord!! Friday!

A huge amount of my time at uni was lost in a fog of weed smoke and four player Goldeneye on the N64.

Nice. There was a HD version for PC that was free a few years back, online multiplayer only. Servers were decent, no idea if it's still online. I'm going to stick TLOU1 back on and finish that again.

Just watched episode 2, much, much better.
Game wise, I'm back with Gerald, and loving it. Also had Village for Xmas and am loving that, but can't play that with the Mrs around as she's easily scared /'freaked out.

I mentioned Uncharted above, and ever since I've had an urge to play through them again. I began Drake's Fortune last night. I can't believe it's 16 years old this year. It still looks incredible. The story itself is ridiculously OTT, there's nothing special or groundbreaking about the gameplay, but it's a bloody fun game. Even after all these years. Admittedly I'm playing the remastered version, but even so, it's aged well enough. From memory Uncharted 2 was easily the best game of the series.

They’re like big budget Hollywood action blockbusters, full of big dumb set pieces and action that’s fun to play through, but I’ve never had any burning desire to go back to any of them.

The story is almost irrelevant in them as well, I'd probably replay 4 as it looked so good though.

Finished GOW Ragnarok last night.
Enjoyed it, probably not quite as good as the first one as it’s pretty much more of the same, but I loved the first one so it’s not an issue for me.

Been playing Ghost of Tsushima. Really enjoying it so far. Hopefully doesn't go AC Valhalla and get repetitive.

Just revisiting the original Dead Space, what a game, 14 yrs old now but you wouldn't think so.
I'll still have to get my son to get me past the asteroid level though. (If you know, you know).
