Fook me that’s brutal for a gamer of my mediocre level

Hunts for the delete option…..

Shame as it’s decent but so unforgiving when it boots you back to the start after every death

Aye it doesn't pull its punches that game, many times I have wanted to chuck the controller against the wall.

I got to the third world of Returnal then gave up, satisfied I’d made it that far.

Been finishing RE 2 remake B scenarios, forgot how good it was. Just got TLOU2 in secret Santa as well which I’m pretty excited about.

I'm totally bored with games at the mo, ended up going back to Skyrim on PS+, playing in survival mode, fugg me that makes it a whole different game. Still stands up quite well with today's games...11 years old!! We've not come as far as we like to think with these games!

Elder Scrolls games always well ahead of the time though. Even Daggerfall held up years after release.

Skyrim was a bit special.

Yakuza: like a dragon has been very enjoyable. Never played any of em previously and loved this one. Got the new cod and been enjoying that. The user interface is an abomination though. Shame as everything else is as good as it's been since black ops 2

Tomb raider was the only computer game I owned. God that was addictive and I’d stay on it until the early hours, leaving 4 hours sleep before getting up for work. I thought it was clever how it was based on the maze principle of making people wonder what’s around the next corner. It also involved memory skills of finding your way back to a certain location which I enjoyed.

COD and other games where it’s mainly shooting, never appealed to me.

Are you playing COD online?? that's what puts me off it.

Heck was talking to my nephew's gf the other day, their kid (5) plays Fortnite, they heard him shout at someone 'go suck your dad's dick!'... He said he doesn't know what it means just that he'd heard it online.

A mixture of parenting, World Cup and the demands of the festive have meant I've had barely any time to play games in recent weeks. My backlog is getting ridiculous - have started GOW Ragnarok but progress has been slow. Have also got a half finished campaign on COD, halfway through a career seaon on FIFA23 and same with FM23.

On top of that there's the stuff ive bought in sales recently and not even started yet - Callisto Protocol, Ghostwire Tokyo, Gran Turismo 7, Cult of the Lamb, the RE:Village DLC... Then on top of that is the 70-odd games in the Steam library and all the stuff on Gamepass I've downloaded but not played...
