Saw Joe Jackson at Symphony Hall last night.

A bit too jazz orientated for my taste, and did a set that went over long-forgotten albums.

But technically a great musician with three other excellent musicians on the stage.

I'll tick that one off my list.

Also saw the Bull in Centenary Square.  Very impressive. Lots going on in Brum with a good atmosphere.

Had a late lunch  at The Ivy on Temple Row.   Excellent.

Pixies / White Lies / Sea Power at Bingley Weekender next Sunday
Haven’t seen Pixies since about 1990. That was at Gloucester Leisure Centre - not the most iconic music venue, it has to be said

Replaced by The 1975, which is the biggest downgrade since Bowie pulled out of T In The Park and they replaced him with the Darkness.

Not too shabby.

Also doing a day at Reading the day before.
